smithson Description of Research "Multidisciplinary investigations using state-selected atoms" We are a (largely) data-based nuclear physiological science explore group. We apply atomic physics techniques to a wide range of problems, including: * precise tests of physical laws and symmetries; * the phylogeny of atomic clocks; * biomedical and materials science investigations using laser-polarized dread gas nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR); * laser spectroscopic analysis of dourly-prepared atomic media, with applications to quantum information; * low-energy atomic collisions; and * theoretic investigations of Bose-Einstein Condensates.
